.Net is a BIG framework

My friend from CMU (now at Microsoft), Jeff
Stylos, mentioned in a presentation that the
.Net framework was so big that its documentation was bigger than,
well, I’ll let him tell you (excerpted from an email with permission):
- There are more than 13,000 classes and structures and hundreds
of thousands of methods in the .NET Framework.
- The documentation is three DVDs worth (~10 gigs) of compressed,
textual documentation, compared to say the Pascal reference (~200
printed pages) or the complete works of William Shakespeare (2 megs
compressed, 5 megs uncompressed).
So yes, to paraphrase Eddie Murphy, that stuff is big.
